Last month, HGTV personality Anthony Carrino took over the Facebook and Instagram accounts of Renewal by Andersen® and gave a live, behind-the-scenes look into his firehouse renovation project. Today, Renewal by Andersen of Seattle, one of the top local window contractors, discusses the highlights from the video.
Inside a Window Replacement Project
The video shares a sneak peek into Carrino’s ongoing project, showing the Renewal by Andersen installation crew busy installing new windows on the building’s second floor. Many things caught Carrino’s attention as he was recording inside the property. For one, he noticed how quiet the interior became. With the replacement windows installed, most outdoor noise was blocked, resulting in a quiet, peaceful interior.
Also, he noticed the interior became cooler. Before the installation, he mentioned how the old windows made the upstairs feel hotter. This go to show how high-quality replacement units can make a massive difference when it comes to indoor comfort levels.
Carrino also praised the installation crew’s work ethic and how impressed he was with their level of craftsmanship, attention to detail and the neatness of the job site. These are things any homeowner can expect when they hire Renewal by Andersen for their window replacement needs.
About Anthony Carrino’s Project
The featured building is the Jersey City Fire Department’s Hook & Ladder No. 3. First purchased by Anthony’s father in 2009, it was converted into the headquarters of their construction company. When his father retired, he bought it from him mainly because of the unique look of the building, which was constructed in the 1800s. It is something he couldn’t pass up, he said.
Once all the work is complete, the building will become his permanent residence. The property’s existing design elements will be combined with an industrial-chic aesthetic with a touch of the mid-century modern style.
