Honoring Veterans at Renewal by Andersen

Serving Those Who Served Us

At Renewal by Andersen we take pride in hiring current military members as well as Veterans. To celebrate Veterans Day this year we are recognizing the ESGR and all they do for military members looking to return to the workforce. We are fortunate to be recognized by the ESGR Department of Defense program for actively employing military members and veterans.

Statement of Support

This year we are so glad for the opportunity to sign the ESGR Statement of Support. ESGR is a program dedicated to helping veterans, guardsmen and reservists transition back into the work force. The ESGR employer support program is  fundamental to encourage strength and readiness for our troops returning to work. The first signing of the Statement of Support was signed on December 13, 1972 by the Chairman of the Board of General Motors. Years later, the statement was signed by it’s first President, Richard Nixon.

We had the pleasure of signing the Statement of Support with Vice Chair of the ESGR, Phil Sanders, a veteran of the Vietnam War. Renewal by Andersen is a proud advocate for employee participation in the military. We pledge to maintain every effort to support the hire of the Nation’s Guard and Reserve units. By signing this, we have pledged that we appreciate the values, leadership and unique skills Service members bring to the workforce.

One of Our Own

We would like to take the time to recognize a key employee, Korina Huddleston, a former Unit Supply Specialist assigned to the 396th Combat Support Hospital. While she’s not at work, she serves as an active volunteer for the WA National Guard Youth program. Her son is also an active member, serving as president for his second term. A big thanks to Korina and every Veteran for they have you’ve done for us and our country!
