At Renewal by Andersen, we’re always looking for ways to give back to the community , and we have had a few great opportunities this year to give back. So in the spirit of Thanksgiving and the upcoming Giving Tuesday, we’re happy to share a few of our
Blood Drive
We couldn’t be more pleased with our partnership with Bloodworks NW. We are so thankful that they were able to drive their bloodmobile to our Seattle office. Everyone who could donate blood did and together our small Seattle office saved 60 lives. That’s a donation of 20 pints of blood total! To all of those who donated and to all of those who helped put this together, thank you.
Breast Cancer Strides for the Cure
Every office and warehouse in the Western Washington area gladly participated in this event! Our install teams wore pink for the whole month of October and even encouraged our customers to wear pink as well. Not only did our installers show their support, but our canvassing team, event marketers and call canter team wore pink to promote awareness. Furthermore, our Seattle office took strides at Gas Works Park for the Strides for the Cure Event, hosted by the American Breast Cancer Society. We were loud and proud with our pink on and sign. Veteran’s Day
We were given the unique opportunity to proclaim a statement of support for the Veteran’s in our community. One of our own Veteran’s graciously arranged a signing of the ESGR Statement of Support. We are thankful to be recognized as a company that supports the hire of Veterans and the unique abilities they bring to the workplace. Check out the full article here
Coat Drive
Since our climate is ever changing like the seasons, we happily organized a coat drive to give warmth to those who need a little extra as the harsh winter season approaches. Our Seattle office has gathered thus far, 40 coats for all ages. We plan on donating up until the end of winter season for those in need. To all who have donated thus far, thank you.
Food Drive
As the Thanksgiving season approaches, we decided to donate food for those in need. We are so grateful to partner with Northwest Harvest for our annual food drive. As this food drive is still active, we are thankful that so far, the Seattle office alone has collected over 257 units of food!
