Seattle Green Seal Certified Windows & Doors
Renewal by Andersen is the only Seattle green replacement window manufacturer to receive Green Seal Certification for Environmental Stewardship. At Renewal by Andersen we’re always working to meeting the needs of the present without compromising the future.
THE ANDERSEN LEGACY
Our environmental commitment has grown from many generations of employees striving to be smarter, different and better in the way we use natural resources, and is exemplified in the design, craftsmanship, durability and quality of our windows. Renewal by Andersen carries this tradition through products that have minimal impact on the environment, reduce energy consumption, and last for years to come.*
MANUFACTURING
Manufactured with minimal impact on the environment

Since the early 1970's Andersen Corporation has reclaimed wood fibers from its manufacturing process to engineer and test composite formulations. Today, Renewal by Andersen window frames are made from revolutionary Fibrex® material. This patented composite is a blend of 40% reclaimed wood fiber and 60% thermoplastic polymers by volume. Fibrex framing material has superior thermal insulating properties, helping to keep your home warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer. The result: windows that help maximize the energy efficiency of your home.
Today, 99% of all manufacturing materials at Andersen are beneficially used.
ENERGY SAVINGS
REDUCING energy consumption,
SAVING your energy dollars
Traditionally, poor performing windows and doors have been a weak energy link in homes, often accounting for up to 40 percent of a home's heat loss in winter and an even larger fraction of heat gain in the summer.* Choosing energy efficient windows and doors helps conserve our natural resources, protect the environment, and lower your utility bills.
Renewal by Andersen's outstanding energy performance is the result of Andersen's patented Fibrex® framing material, High-Performance™ Low-E4™ glass, and professional installation. Together, these elements can help keep your home 64% more energy efficient in winter and 48% more energy efficient in summer.† Plus, Renewal by Andersen® windows meet ENERGY STAR® qualifications for all climate zones of the U.S. and rate extremely well under the NFRC (National Fenestration Rating Council) rating system.

LONG TERM IMPACT
Windows that are built to last, minimizing future waste

It's not uncommon for Renewal by Andersen to replace windows that are less than 10 years old. Unlike those products, our windows are designed and crafted to withstand the test of time* - providing superior value and reducing future waste streams.
Our products are built to last. We are so confident in our windows and doors that we back them with one of the strongest transferable limited warranties in the business.
Our low-maintenance Fibrex® framing material is warranted not to chip, peel or rot.* And, since our windows never need painting, they reduce the waste streams created by the ongoing maintenance associated with some replacement windows.
Selecting Renewal by Andersen® windows gives you confidence that you won't be facing another window replacement project just a few years down the road.

Green Seal estimates that if all windows in the U.S. were as energy efficient as those made by Renewal by Andersen, Americans would save up to 2.5 percent of the annual U.S. energy consumption -
an estimated 200 gallons of oil for every household in the U.S.
